TERMS OF BOOKING A COURSE

1. ENROLMENT
The enrolment is realised by sending the online enrolment form. As soon as the availability is verified the student will receive a written confirmation of the course enrolment and an invoice from English Academic Courses. The reservation only then becomes obligatory for the language school if this is approved in a written form. The student is bound to the registration until the confirmation of the language school, at the most 16 days after the entry date of the enrolment. If the student needs a visa it is recommended that you apply at least 6 weeks before the course starts.

2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LANGUAGE SCHOOLS
Please note that the individual language schools have their own terms and conditions which also apply once a course is booked. We advise you to read them carefully before making your decision.

3. CHANGE OF RESERVATION
No fees will be charged for changes communicated to us in writing within two business days of the booking confirmation. No fees will be charged for extensions or upgrades of bookings at the same school. In all other cases, if the student would like to make modifications to a confirmed booking, a change fee of £50 will be charged. For changes communicated less than 30 days before the start of the booked services, schools reserve the right to pass on to thestudent additional costs resulting from the change. Changes of schools, reduction of course durations and downgrade of services are considered as cancellations and the cancellation terms apply.

4. CANCELLATION
(a) Cancellation of Contract by the Student
The student may cancel the enrolment at any time prior to the start of the course. The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing by the person that booked the course. A cancellation will cause cancellation charges as specified below:

Up to 48 hours after booking: All fees are refunded;

48 hours after booking: All fees refunded except for the booking payment and the registration fee from the school;

1-30 days before course start: 50% refund;

Enrolment fees and first payment are not refundable. After the start of course, the school will pay no refunds. Requests for refunds of contracted insurance services are regulated by the conditions of the insurance and need to be communicated by the client directly to the insurance.
It is recommended to contract a cancellation insurance upon enrolment to cover the cancellation costs if you cannot attend the course for medical reasons.

To avoid or minimize cancellation fees, you may present another person to participate in the course in your place or you may request ahead of time to postpone the course to another date. Frequently schools will then charge no fees or only a small administrative fee.
If you have booked under a free cancellation promotion as indicated on your registration form, no cancellation fees will apply in accordance with the deadlines indicated there.

(b) Cancellation of Contract by the School
In case of printing, writing or calculation errors, the schools reserve the right to cancel the contract.

(c) Cancellation due to Visa Refusal
